How2Gather is built to help families and groups coordinate life. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to make the product work.

What we store

• The planner you create (title, notes, slots, entries).
• The names and colours of participants you add.
• The email of the planner creator, so we can recover the link.
• If you set a password, we store a one-way hash of it.

Cookies & local storage

We use a small amount of browser storage to make the app work:

• Edit token — keeps you unlocked on a planner you created (7 days).
• Auth session — only if you sign in to the admin area.
• Cookie preference — remembers your choice on this banner.

We don't use advertising trackers or third-party analytics that follow you across sites.
